On Thursday, May 12th, I attended the Mango Model-Stylist Event hosted by the beautiful,Miss Natalie Suarez from Natalie Off Duty. I attended alone and made a straight bee-line to say hello to Natalie. She was uber cool, super nice, down-to-earth, gorgeous and chic in her little Mango chiffon dress. I also participated in the styling contest, I just couldn't help myself. The rules were simply style your own Mango looks within a budget of $150 or $300, get your hair and make up done by Sephora and get your picture taken. Natalie was the judge and would choose 3 finalists from each category. All 6 winners each received a Mango gift card of either $500, $250, or $100.
Much to my surprise as I was out luggage shopping Saturday, I got a call from Mango telling me that I had won 2nd place in the $300 category (the only one I was able to enter since I was rushing to get to the Satya Jewelry Blogger Preview). I was ecstatic and in disbelief - how perfect a final shopping spree before I leave for vacation.
