Matthew Williamson Resort 2012

Thursday, June 16, 2011 | |

Matthew Williamson's resort collection was inspired by the Far East, Tokyo in particular.  With mash ups of traditional Japanese gardens and urban cityscapes.  The highlights: pretty landscape graphics (high-rise buildings with the mountains in the background) on silk dresses and trim button-downs. Silhouettes were clean, the best way to flaunt those great patterns and intricate embellishments. Loads of silk, pom-pom details & feathers. Photographer Nobuyoshi Araki was this season’s muse.

OOh amazing pics, I think the dress at the very end is so fun with the feathers, I would really like that one in my closet. hehe

The first blue dress is stunning! The second blue dress (maxi) and the very last dress in beige are amazing as well. Wish I could have them all ;)
