Go Army Green, No Matter the Weather

Tuesday, March 8, 2011 | |

In the past year, I've been wearing a lot of army green and military inspired gear.  Some are trends, but I think its a classic look that  you can never go wrong with.

The boots are from Steve Madden, although I'm not sure if they still make them the same since I've had these since last year.

Army inspired green is endlessly classic, and certainly on trend for the spring season. Get your own version of the timeless look by pairing a modern army green trench with skinny dark jeans and brown boots.  I opted for the skirt with a black turtle neck sweater since it was still February when these pictures were taken.

Our favorite

A place we call our own in the Metropolis.

STEVE MADDEN BOOTS HERE!

I look like a dork here, Slava the terrible was making me giggle too much... I'm holding on for dear life, instinctively not wanting to fall, saw the police tape way too late.

A place where I go to think, read and reflect. Such a beautiful place, frozen in time..

It felt like we were no longer in NYC, it was a clear cold wintry day. Perfect for taking pictures and getting lost in the Big Rotten Apple. It felt like Paris.

I thought of some rock garden in Japan when I took this picture, then I thought about my Dad - I felt like I was 15 again.
