Hello dolls! So glad to be blogging again after last week's whirlwind; my wedding anniversary, office holiday party and I caught the flu in between. Yeah, I know – it only happens to me & my sickly lungs. I was highly disappointed with my office party, but I'm happy to report that my anniversary dinner is worth talking about. We went to this wonderful place that you MUST-VISIT while in NYC called Mari Vanna (with locations in Moscow, St. Petersburg, London & soon to open D.C. & Miami). I'm sure you've all guessed it's a Russian establishment, a very cool one I might add. Everything from the ambiance, decor, food, drinks & people were all outstanding.
I wish I wore this outfit for said dinner, but I felt it was a little too Upper East Side. I just wanted to share with you all one of my treasured JC's – Dressen. Notice, I've gone color & pattern crazy lately. Its the weather, I dare to be fun & carefree even if its cold outside.

Hey, Sole Sista!
I'm glad to hear your anniversary dinner went well :)
I really like this combination of prints. The pansies on your top are SO cute! It reminds me of my mom's garden when I was growing up. I've never seen them as a print before though. I think it's fantastic!
Loving the color scheme in this look!

I love the red shoes. They add a great, different dimension to the outfit.

Hey girl! I'm glad the exams are over and I'm back! A lot of my friends are crazy about Sephora so I can relate to that. You should definitely visit Bruges someday, and if you ever do - let me know!(And the movie with Colin Farrell is in the exactly same Bruges I'm talking about!) Which season are you going to Russia? That's great - especially if your hubby if Russian, that way he can be your guide.
Love how you wore all these colors and textures in one outfit - the result looks great! Love xoxo
WHHHHATTTT???????? ANNIVERSARY???! WOO HOO! Happy Anniversary! And I'm loving the pattern mixing! You've done well.. I did some patten mixing today..but I don't think it worked well.. I had animal print..plaid..and hearts.. and it just didn't seem balanced.. Do you ever have days like that? Where you second guess your wardrobe picks? Hate that... Hope you're doing well lovely friend! And happy holidays!

Merry Christmas, Sole Sista!
I hope you're having a wonderful day and week :)
That restaurant sounds fantastic. I love all kinds of food, but I have not been lucky enough to try Russian. Thai, Indian, and Peruvian are some of my favorites. Along with Mexican, of course!
Anyway, if you ever come down to California I'd love to show you around Wine Country. We'd have a blast :)
Love,
Azu
